Episode 11

Episode 11 takes a major turn when Dan-sim wakes up back in the Joseon era. After spending so much time in modern Seoul and developing a relationship with Se-gye, returning to her original time feels like a cruel twist of fate.

Dan-sim immediately wants to find a way back to the present. Her life in 2026 has become more than an escape from death. It has become the place where she found people she cares about and, most importantly, someone she loves.

Meanwhile, Se-gye has to deal with the consequences of Mun-do’s actions. Without Dan-sim beside him, he is forced to confront problems that he previously relied on her to help him handle.

The episode creates a strong emotional contrast between the two timelines. Dan-sim is physically back in Joseon, but emotionally she remains connected to the modern world. Se-gye is in the present, but the person he loves is suddenly hundreds of years away.

Episode 11 therefore begins the final stretch of the story with a much more serious tone. The question is no longer simply whether Dan-sim can survive. It is whether she can somehow return to the person and life she found in the future.
