Season 1

The Remarried Empress follows the life of Empress Navier, a respected and intelligent ruler of the Eastern Empire. Known for her grace, wisdom, and dedication to her kingdom, Navier has always stood beside Emperor Sovieshu as his wife and trusted partner. Their marriage appears perfect from the outside, but everything changes when Sovieshu brings Rashta, a runaway slave, into the imperial palace.

As Sovieshu becomes increasingly attached to Rashta, Navier finds herself facing betrayal from the very person she trusted most. Rather than allowing her husband’s actions to destroy her dignity, she maintains her composure while the political and emotional tension inside the palace continues to grow.

When Sovieshu finally announces his intention to divorce her, Navier makes a decision that shocks the entire empire. She agrees to the divorce on one condition: she must be granted permission to marry Prince Heinrey of the Western Kingdom.
