Episode 6
Episode Review
Episode 6 takes Seo-ri and Se-gye away from their usual surroundings as they travel to Jeju. The change of location gives the characters an opportunity to spend more time together without the same level of pressure from work and family. It also allows the relationship to develop in a more personal way.
Things do not stay peaceful for long, however. An unexpected emergency leaves Se-gye shaken, and later Seo-ri disappears, forcing him to search for her. This is an important moment for his character because his reaction makes it clear just how much Seo-ri has come to matter to him.
Until this point, Se-gye has often tried to hide his feelings behind sarcasm and arrogance. Here, his concern becomes much more obvious. He is no longer simply curious about Seo-ri or attracted to her personality. He genuinely fears losing her.
Seo-riβs disappearance also highlights how vulnerable her situation actually is. She may act confident, but she is still a woman caught between two identities and two different worlds. The episode uses the Jeju setting to bring some emotional depth to that conflict.
Episode 6 is one of the seasonβs strongest romantic episodes because it allows the chemistry between the leads to breathe. Instead of relying only on arguments and comedy, the story begins showing why these two people genuinely need each other.
