Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 Review: Na-hyun’s Past
Phantom Lawyer Episode 7 brings a change in circumstances for both Shin I-rang and Han Na-hyeon. I-rang unexpectedly loses his ability to see ghosts, while Na-hyeon experiences a professional setback that challenges the confidence she has built through her legal career.
These developments create an interesting turning point. I-rang has increasingly relied on his supernatural ability to understand unusual cases, so losing it forces him to reconsider how much of his progress depends on something beyond his control. His experience also raises a question about whether his growing sense of responsibility can survive without the ability that originally brought him into contact with the spirit world.
Na-hyeon’s situation offers a different kind of challenge. She is accustomed to professional achievement and the expectations that come with being a successful attorney. A setback can therefore affect more than her immediate career. It can also force her to reconsider the standards by which she measures herself.
Their paths cross again at the courthouse, creating an opportunity for the two characters to encounter each other under unfamiliar circumstances. Their developing relationship becomes more interesting because neither is completely secure in the role they previously occupied.
The episode’s focus on personal difficulty gives the drama room to develop its characters beyond supernatural cases. It reminds viewers that professional confidence can be fragile and that even capable people must learn how to respond when their usual strengths are unavailable.
Na-hyun’s Past adds emotional depth to Phantom Lawyer and prepares the characters for further development by challenging their assumptions about success, identity, and the abilities they depend on.
