Episode 13: The Hero's Return

The second season premiere picks up where the first season left off, but the dynamic has shifted. Saitama is still bored, but he is now part of the Hero Association, dealing with the bureaucracy and politics of being a hero. The episode introduces Garou, a mysterious figure who will become the central antagonist of the season. Garou’s ideology—that monsters are misunderstood and heroes are unjust—adds a new layer of moral complexity to the series. The episode also explores the Hero Association’s internal conflicts, particularly the tension between the A-Class and S-Class heroes, and the bureaucracy that hampers their effectiveness. This premiere sets up a season that shifts focus from Saitama to the wider hero community, exploring the consequences of the hero system and the individuals who operate within it, while still maintaining the comedy and action that fans love.
