Human Monster Arc

The second season continues Saitama’s story but shifts focus to introduce Garou, the “Human Monster,” who becomes the central antagonist of this arc. The season explores the darker side of the hero world, questioning the morality of the Hero Association and the nature of monsters. While the animation quality took a slight dip with the change of studio from Madhouse to J.C. Staff, the storytelling remains strong. The season delves deeper into the motivations of various characters, particularly Garou’s ideology of becoming a monster to unify humanity against a common threat. The martial arts tournament arc provides some of the best action sequences, and the season sets up an exciting third season.
