Episode 16: The Metal Bat

The episode introduces Metal Bat, one of the most popular and powerful S-Class heroes, as he faces Garou in a brutal, no-holds-barred battle. Metal Bat’s fighting style, which involves his weapon, the “Nunchucks,” and his ability to increase his power when angry, makes him a formidable opponent. The fight is visceral and intense, with both combatants pushing their limits. The episode explores Garou’s growing confidence and his refusal to back down, even against an S-Class hero. The battle is not just a physical clash but a clash of ideologies: Metal Bat’s brute strength and honor vs. Garou’s cunning and cynical worldview. The episode also provides insight into Metal Bat’s character, showing his loyalty to his sister and the guilt he carries over past failures. The action is some of the best in the season, and the narrative tension builds as Garou’s actions have consequences that ripple through the hero organization.
