Phantom Lawyer Episode 4 Review: Harmony of the Dead
Phantom Lawyer Episode 4 develops the investigation surrounding Su-a’s case and brings Shin I-rang into an unexpected professional partnership with Han Na-hyeon. Their relationship has been shaped by different personalities and contrasting approaches to legal work, making their decision to cooperate an important development in the story.
I-rang is guided by his determination to uncover the truth and help people whose voices have been ignored. Na-hyeon, on the other hand, approaches legal disputes with the discipline and strategic thinking of an accomplished attorney. Their differences can create friction, but those same differences may become their greatest advantage when a case requires more than one perspective.
The episode’s central appeal lies in the tension between personal conviction and professional strategy. I-rang is willing to follow unusual leads because of his connection to the spirit world, while Na-hyeon’s legal experience helps bring structure to their investigation. Neither approach is necessarily sufficient on its own, making their temporary alliance an interesting development.
The title, Harmony of the Dead, also reflects the possibility of finding a balance between unresolved spirits and the living people affected by their stories. Justice becomes more complicated when important information has been hidden or when people are reluctant to confront the past.
This episode strengthens the series’ legal elements while continuing its supernatural mystery. It also begins building the relationship between I-rang and Na-hyeon through shared challenges rather than instant agreement.
For viewers who enjoy courtroom mysteries and character-driven Korean dramas, Episode 4 provides a satisfying continuation of the developing case and gives the central partnership more room to evolve.
